last night at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London

ok – it was raining but the sun shone in the QEH…

edwyn collins and his merry gang played tunes from Losing Sleep, old Orange Juice classics and his own back cat…

it was a wonderful evening full of highly charged rock n roll n funk n melody…i just had to tell you….i shouted and screamed the whole way through..

special thanks to guests Ryan from the cribs and Alex from Franz Ferdinand – you added so much to a great evening that will live with us all for a very long time

the other event of the day is the release of the new album by Edwyn Collins. it’s called Losing Sleep and it’s in your shops now – oh! and you can download it from your fave internet store as well..

They are going to be playing for you – as are The Onlookers and The Kinbeats…there will be badges to wear and we may even give you a cd. oh – i almost forgot – Edwyn Collins and James Endeacott are going to play you records – some old, some new….whatever the era – you will smile.
